What Are The Disadvantages Of Co-Education In Pakistan?

Are The Disadvantages Of Co-Education In Pakistan?

There are definite disadvantages of co-education. First, co-education is against the law of natural history. Girls and boys are temperamentally unusual from each other. They have different duties to perform. A girl is necessary to receive education which can make her a good wife and a good mother. While a boy is required to receive education which can make him a good husband and a good father. A homogeneous education can not help them be expert in their personal fields. Thus the very idea of co-education is wrong. Then co-education is against our society. It will develop distort relations between boys and girls.Young boys and girls may fall a victim to their emotions.
The story of the young age band in the advanced countries is pitiable. Moreover our religion Islam disallows free mixing of boys and girls. Also, some subjects can not be taught in the presence of both sexes. Again, in developing countries like Pakistan, it is not an economical measure. In our country, colleges are few. These are already over-crowded. Co-education can prove economical only in the countries where the numbers of students in colleges are very small. So we should adopt this system with great care

The Co-education makes a person lack in self confidence. Girl's moral and islamic values can be built at home it is not necessary to get education with boys.

  11. Islam does not allow to study together b/c we can not understand some subjects clearly such as Biology in which we can not study deep in co education system .. In our society male is understood be powerful then female so that it is not good ..
Islam said female to live in hijab n dont show your face r your any part of your body ......

    1. There is hesitation for sure but what if in single gender schools(girls school) the instructor is male for biology class? If you want to provide education to girls then do not 'strengthen the capacity of inequality'.

  19. I am against co-educationn, firstly because Islam doesn't have a very open culture, means to say that it doesn't allow the free mixing of girls and boys. Secondly, sometimes this system shows resistance in asking any question from the teacher because of the fear of insult in front of opposite gender that he or she might ask a silly question so this leaves them in a confused concept and weak grip on studies.
The third reason is that there are some students who misuse the concept of co-education and start developing the attraction towards the opposite gender and distract themselves away from the right path and away from the studies. They may fall a victim to their emotions.

  24. Think before you speak
Co-edu is not bad nor its a fault.
Actually our education system not good .
When we were in class our teacher was talking on cell phone and wasting our time . He did not show any care for students
If teacher is responcble and servilince TT he activites of student at every single moment in class . Thn student cant invoinvolve in iregular activities.
In my opinion co - edu is not responcble for involment of both sexes actually teacher and institution envirnment responcble for this
    Thanks you
